A signed contract and a 50% deposit are required to confirm your reservation. We also require a credit card on file for all bookings.
Yes. We have a minimum rental order requirement of $600.
The remaining balance is due at least 72 hours before delivery.
All reservations are booked on a first-come, first-served basis.
- 7 or more days before your event: Receive a full credit of your deposit toward a future event.
- 3 to 6 days before your event: Receive a 50% credit.
- Less than 48 hours before your event: No refund or credit is available.
Once we dispatch equipment for delivery, the full rental amount applies, and we will not issue a refund or credit.
Yes. Events over $1,000 that include event staff or event management services are subject to a 50% non-refundable cancellation fee. This fee may be applied to a future event held within six months from date of event.
Services such as DJs, food vendors, pony rides, train rides, petting zoos, rock walls, bungee jumps, and other specialty attractions require a 50% non-refundable booking fee. Full payment is required if canceled within 48 hours of the event.
We allow rescheduling at no cost for severe weather conditions, including:
- Heavy rain
- Lightning
- Dangerous winds
- Extreme heat
- Freezing temperatures
Submit requests in writing at least 24 hours before your scheduled delivery.
No. Once equipment is out for delivery, refunds or credits are not available.
True North Event & Party Rentals reserves the right to make the final decision regarding weather-related cancellations. Outdoor rentals may be canceled due to:
- Sustained winds of 15-20 mph or greater
- 70% or higher chance of rain
- Temperatures below 32°F
- Temperatures above 97°F
Most rentals are delivered within a delivery window, typically 1 to 4 hours prior to the event start time.
Yes. Special delivery or pickup times may be available for an additional fee. Contact our sales and customer service team to arrange this. The fee depends on several factors, including location, equipment, and staff availability windows.
Backyard Parties are generally picked up within 4 hours of the event end time.
Schools, churches, corporate events, and park delivery site locations are generally picked up within an hour of event time.
During high-volume weekends, pickup may occur the following day. We will discuss this with you in advance.
Yes. Customers are responsible for the equipment’s security from setup until our team retrieves it.
Delivery is included for locations within 20 miles of our facility in La Vergne, Tennessee.
- 21 to 40 miles: Additional charge of $4.00 per mile.
- Over 40 miles: Contact us for a custom delivery quote.
You must provide:
- A clear access path at least 4 feet wide
- An area free of mud, rocks, debris, steep slopes, and animal waste
- Access through unlocked gates
Only if approved in advance and in writing. Additional fees may apply depending on equipment and space.
Customers are responsible for measuring the setup area and ensuring the rented equipment fits safely with proper clearance from structures, trees, and overhead obstructions. Equipment size is located under the specific items on the website. There are no refunds or credits if our team can’t fit the item in the space it was intended.
Equipment must be located at least 10 feet away from power lines and structures.
Customers must have underground utilities, irrigation systems, and other buried lines properly identified before installation.
Yes. Additional fees may apply for difficult or inaccessible setups.
If we cannot safely install the equipment because of site conditions or incorrect information, the rental may be canceled without a refund.
Yes. A working water spigot must be located within 45 feet of the setup area. True North standardly brings a 50ft hose on water deliveries.
Each inflatable requires its own dedicated 20-amp, 110-volt outlet within 45 feet of the setup area. True North brings a 50ft extension cord for each circuit required.
No. Rental equipment must have a dedicated circuit.
Customers are responsible for power interruptions or tripped breakers. We will not provide refunds or time extensions.
Yes. An adult age 18 or older must supervise all equipment whenever it is in use.
Turn off the blower and allow the inflatable to deflate.
Only units specifically designated for water use may be used wet. Never use dry-use units when wet. We label units as wet on our website if they can handle water.
No. Never move or alter anchoring systems. Doing so transfers responsibility for any resulting damage or injuries to the customer.
No. Anyone under the influence of drugs or alcohol is prohibited from using inflatables or attractions.
Customers are responsible for returning equipment in the same condition in which it was delivered.
Depending on the severity of the damage, we will discuss a cleaning fee, repair costs, lost revenue, or up to the full replacement cost of the equipment with the client.
We take pride in providing quality equipment to our customers. The following items will ruin the equipment and should never be allowed on or inside the equipment.
- Silly string.
- Food and beverages.
- Candy.
- Sharp objects.
- Slime.
- Glitter.
- Pets.
- Baby oil or other oils that make you slide faster; this is dangerous for your guests and ruins the inflatable.
The customer is responsible for operating, supervising, and using all rented equipment once it has been delivered. True North does have management and staff available to help support your event. Please speak with your customer service representative about adding to your event.
Yes. A signed liability waiver must be completed at least 48 hours before delivery.
Yes. We maintain general liability, workers’ compensation, commercial auto coverage, and a $5 million umbrella policy.
Yes. Additional insured certificates may be available with at least 72 hours’ written notice before your event.
Yes. All of our equipment is inspected annually by the state of Tennessee; in addition, our Operations Manager and team routinely inspect and process the equipment.
Yes, our equipment is routinely cleaned and disinfected. True North is committed to providing a clean, safe environment for your children and guests. We clean with commercial vinyl cleaners and disinfectants.
Anchoring methods vary by surface:
- Grass: Steel stakes
- Concrete or asphalt: Water barrels, concrete blocks, or sandbags
- Indoor events: Sandbags
Yes. Your rental includes all required anchoring equipment.
If the setup surface changes after delivery begins, we cannot guarantee proper anchoring. We will not issue refunds or credits if the equipment cannot be safely installed. All changes to anchoring must be done so prior to delivery.
Yes. We reserve the right to refuse delivery or remove equipment if:
- Conditions are unsafe
- Aggressive behavior is present
- The setup area does not meet installation requirements
